We are a privately run racing team started in the early 1950's by Ron Searles
as the Ron Searles Racing Team. The cars that were run from 1949 - 1957
were a Cooper Aston Martin and Rover BMW, both Formula 1, together
with two Formula 111 Coopers one with a Jap engine and the other with a Norton.
Today the tradition is upheld by Bob Searles, Ron's son, who runs a
1955 Cooper T39 Bobtail and a lightweight Aston Martin DBSV8 in the
Heritage Grand Touring Car Challenge, a car which he shares with
F1 pundit Tony Jardine. In addition to the racing activities our
small team of expert engineers
prepare a limited number of classic
Aston Martin road cars.
